These pictures are from this past weekend, spent introducing Thomas, who is Canadian and Swiss, to the heaviness of food in the Midwestern United States and to the city of Chicago. Here we see Thomas and me on my front steps, then the dog park by my friends' apartment (the lives of whom are featured in the "Inner City Pressure" post), and Kathryn and Kim, enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. I didn't get as many shots of the north side skyline as I would've hoped, but these are okay. It was a great weekend.
